Exactly what goes on your wall.

Every system is Growatt — nothing rebadged, nothing generic. Here are the model numbers and the manufacturer's own datasheets, so you can check every figure we quote you against the people who built the thing.

AXE vs Hope, side by side

Both lines are Growatt LiFePO₂ — the same battery chemistry family, not a safer one and a riskier one. What differs is certification, how they handle a hard power surge, and cost per usable kilowatt-hour.

Growatt AXE 5.0L-C1 Growatt Hope 5.0L-B1
Usable capacity 4.6 kWh per module (92% DoD) 5.0 kWh per module (98% DoD)
Continuous power 3 kW with one module, capped at 6 kW however many more you stack 5.12 kW per module, and it keeps scaling with every pack added
Surge handling Up to 11.25 kW sustained for a full 3 seconds — built for hard-starting motors like A/C compressors and pumps Higher instantaneous peak (~250 A) but only for 150 milliseconds — built for continuous scaling power, not a long overload
Certification UL1973 + FCC listed Not listed on this datasheet — CE, UN38.3, MSDS, RoHS only
Warranty 5 years standard, 10 optional 5 years
Cost per usable kWh, installed $6,739 MXN $4,681 MXN
Fits best Condo, HOA or insured buildings that specify UL-listed storage; systems where a hard-starting compressor or pump needs a long overload window The 8 and 12 kW systems, and anywhere the goal is the most capacity per peso with no UL requirement in play

Some condo regimes and HOA insurance policies specify UL-listed battery storage. AXE carries UL1973; the Hope datasheet we have on file does not list one. If your building has that requirement, tell us and we specify AXE — worth confirming with your insurer either way, since coverage terms vary building to building.

The AXE's 6 kW ceiling is the one specification worth reading twice on the other end: stacking more modules buys you longer runtime, never more power. That is why the calculator offers it on the 3 and 6 kW systems and not on the 8 and 12 kW ones — those need the Hope line, which keeps scaling with every pack you add.
